PVC Garden Fencing: Panels & Gates for Beds, Borders and Front Yards

Garden fencing does a different job to a backyard boundary. You’re not blocking sightlines or screening out neighbours. You’re defining a space: the edge of a flower bed, the front of the property, the line between lawn and veggie patch. It needs to look good at a height where everyone can see it, and it needs to handle being next to soil, mulch and sprinklers without rotting.

PVC garden fence panels do both. At 1.2 m they sit at a natural conversation height. The material is waterproof, UV-stabilised and backed by a 30-year warranty. No painting, no sealing, no rotten pickets to replace. Hose it down when the mower throws mud at it.

Two Garden Fence Styles

Margaret ($74/m) is a flat-top picket panel designed specifically for garden use. Wider picket spacing gives it a lighter, more open feel than a privacy fence. Works well along flower beds, around vegetable gardens and as a front-yard border where you want definition without a solid wall.

Elizabeth ($74/m) is the scalloped option. A curved top rail between each post gives it a heritage look that suits cottage gardens, Queenslander front yards and Hamptons style properties. Tighter picket spacing than Margaret, so it also provides a degree of semi-privacy at ground level.

Garden Fence Ideas

A 1.2 m PVC garden fence fits more situations than you’d expect. A few we see regularly:

Flower bed borders. Run a panel along the edge of a garden bed to keep foot traffic (and dogs) off the plants. The white PVC pops against green foliage.

Vegetable garden protection. 1.2 m is tall enough to discourage possums and keep chickens out. The panels are waterproof, so constant soil contact and sprinkler spray won’t cause problems.

Front-yard definition. A low garden fence along the front boundary marks the property line without hiding the house. Most Australian councils allow 1.2 m front fences without a permit.

Garden Gates

A fence without a gate is just a wall you have to walk around. Our pedestrian gates match both Margaret and Elizabeth panels. Single gates for garden entry, double gates for wider openings. Same white PVC, same post system, same warranty. Include the gate in your quote so everything arrives together.
