FAQ
Got questions? Find answers about our products, delivery, installation and support.
How much does PVC fencing cost per metre?
PVC fencing starts from $68 per metre for a 1.2 m picket panel and goes up to $107 per metre for a 2m full-privacy fence. The final cost depends on panel style, height and how many gates or corners your layout includes. Use our fencing calculator for a quick estimate, or request a detailed quote with delivery to your postcode.
Is PVC fencing any good?
PVC is one of the most durable residential fencing materials available in Australia. It won’t rot, warp, attract termites or rust, and it never needs painting or staining. Our panels are UV-stabilised for the Australian sun and backed by a 30-year warranty covering discolouration, warping and structural defects. The main trade-off is upfront cost (PVC typically costs more per metre than timber), but you save that back in zero maintenance over the life of the fence.
How long does a PVC fence last?
With proper installation, a PVC fence will hold its colour and structure for 30 years or more. Our 30-year warranty covers UV discolouration, warping, cracking and structural defects. The only maintenance is an occasional wash.
Can I install PVC fencing myself?
Yes. Most of our customers handle the install themselves. PVC panels slot into a post and lock together without specialist tools. A standard backyard boundary is typically a weekend job for two people. If you’d prefer professional help, Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast customers can book our installation team for a fixed-price on-site install.
Do you deliver PVC fencing Australia-wide?
Yes, we deliver to every state and territory in Australia. You get a full parts list and delivery cost as part of your quote. Customers also have the option of picking up from our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast warehouses.
What PVC fence styles do you offer?
We make five types of fencing in 12 unique styles. Privacy fences for backyard boundaries with full or semi screening. Picket fences for front yards, in pointed, flat-top and scalloped profiles. Hamptons style for coastal and classic homes. Garden fences for flower beds borders. And temporary fencing on freestanding bases for events, sites and short-term use. All styles come with matching gates.
PVC Fencing Australia: Vinyl Fence Panels for Every Property
PVC fencing (you’ll also see it called vinyl fencing or plastic fencing) is what happens when you take the look of a traditional painted fence and remove everything annoying about it. No rotting. No termites. No weekends lost to sanding and repainting. Just white panels that slot onto a post grid, lock together, and stay looking the same year after year.
We supply PVC fence panels, gates and accessories to every state in Australia. Most customers do their own install over a weekend, but if you’d rather not, we can point you to a local contractor or (in South East Queensland) send our own crew.
Our PVC Fence Range
Five fence styles, each built for a different situation on the property.
Privacy fence panels are what most people start with. Tongue-and-groove construction, no gaps, no sightlines. Heights run from 1.5 m up to 2m, so you choose how much screening your boundary actually needs. Want some airflow and light instead of a solid wall? That’s where our semi-privacy models come in.
PVC picket fence panels are for the front of the house. We do classic pointed pickets, modern flat-top profiles and heritage scalloped designs. Basically the Australian white picket fence, minus the repainting every couple of years.
Those two cover the majority of residential jobs. The rest of the range is more specialised.
Hamptons style fencing takes picket or privacy panels and adds decorative tops and post caps. If you’re building on the coast or just like that clean Hamptons look, this is the one.
Garden fences sit at 1.2 m. Short enough to chat over, solid enough to keep the dog out of the veggie patch. Popular for flower beds and front-yard borders.
Temporary fencing is a different beast. Freestanding bases, no digging, panels that interlock and pull apart in minutes. Buy once, reuse forever. Works for events, building sites, pool compliance, market stalls, you name it.
And sliding and swinging gates to match any panel in the range. Single, double, automation-ready.
Why PVC Over Timber or Metal?
Short version: PVC fencing doesn’t rot, doesn’t attract termites, doesn’t rust and never needs a coat of paint. Wash it with a hose once or twice a year. That’s the full maintenance schedule.
Compare that to timber, which requires staining or painting every two to three years (and still warps, splits and develops gaps over time). Colorbond holds up well in the weather but scratches easily and has that industrial feel that doesn’t suit every street. Aluminium slats look sharp on modern builds, but the gaps between slats mean you’re trading privacy for aesthetics (not ideal for a backyard boundary).
PVC keeps its colour and shape for decades without asking anything from you. That’s the reason PVC fencing keeps growing in Australia compared to timber and Colorbond, particularly across Queensland, New South Wales and coastal Victoria.
PVC Fencing Cost and How to Order
What you’ll pay depends on the panel style, fence height, how many metres you’re covering and what the ground is like. Our fencing calculator gives you a ballpark per metre. When you’re ready for exact numbers, request a detailed quote and we’ll send a full parts list with delivery to your postcode. Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast customers can also book professional fence installation with a free on-site measure and quote.
