Overview
The Elizabeth takes the classic white picket fence and adds a scalloped curve to the top rail, creating a flowing profile that rises and falls between each pair of posts. The design suits heritage homes, Queenslanders, and Hampton-style properties where a straight-top picket fence would look too plain and a privacy fence too heavy. At 1.2 metres it works as a front boundary, garden feature, or decorative divider. The PVC scalloped rails hold their curve permanently – no sagging, no weather damage, and no need for the regular maintenance that timber scalloped fencing demands.

The scalloped profile
The Elizabeth’s top rail follows a smooth curve between posts, creating the scalloped picket fence shape that heritage Australian homes are known for. In timber, scalloped rails sag and warp over time as the wood absorbs moisture and dries out through seasonal cycles. PVC maintains the curve permanently. The shape you see on installation day is the shape you see a decade later.
Heritage character in PVC
Pointed pickets, a curved top rail, and a white finish give the Elizabeth the look of a traditional heritage fence without the maintenance that timber demands. No annual painting, no termite treatment, no replacing individual pickets as they split and rot. The Elizabeth suits Queenslanders, Federation homes, and any property where the street presentation calls for a fence with period character.
UV-stabilised for Australian conditions
The same UV-stabilised PVC used across the QFS range. White vinyl that will not yellow, chalk, or become brittle under harsh sun. Coastal salt air, tropical downpours, and hot western afternoon sun do not affect the material. A garden hose is the only maintenance tool the Elizabeth will ever need.
Front boundaries with character
The Elizabeth is a front fence. Its scalloped profile is designed to be seen from the street, adding visual interest to the property boundary. For a flat, modern alternative at the same height, the Isabella offers closed-top pickets with a contemporary profile. For a classic straight pointed picket, the Anne delivers the traditional look without the curve. All three stand at 1.2m.
