Overview
The Eleanor is a two-part fence design that combines the screening of a privacy panel with the look of a traditional picket fence. The lower section uses solid tongue-and-groove boards to block sightlines at ground level at seated height. Above that, open pickets extend to 1.5 metres, allowing light and breeze through the top of the fence. The picket-top section reduces wind load compared to a solid panel of the same height, which makes the Eleanor practical for exposed blocks and coastal properties. Matching gates are available in single, double, and sliding configurations.

The tongue-and-groove body of the Eleanor blocks sightlines where they matter most: at seated and standing height in the yard. The open picket section above adds height to the fence without the visual weight of a solid panel. Neighbours and visitors see a classic white picket fence. From inside the yard, you get genuine privacy across the lower section where you actually spend time.
PVC that handles any climate
UV-stabilised vinyl will not rot in tropical humidity, corrode in coastal salt air, or split in dry inland heat. The Eleanor needs no painting, no staining, and no seasonal treatment. A hose-down keeps it clean. The solid lower section and open upper section are built from the same UV-stabilised PVC, so the entire panel ages consistently without colour variation between the two parts.
Heritage charm with practical privacy
The picket-top profile gives the Eleanor a traditional character that suits Queenslanders, Federation-style homes, and Hampton-style properties. At 1.5 metres it works for front boundaries where a full-height privacy fence would look imposing and a standard 1.2m picket fence would not provide enough screening.
